Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies the rules around Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) for an employee earning £30,000 per month. It's confirmed that no TDS deduction is required in this scenario as the annual income falls below the taxable threshold. The thread also briefly touches upon the potential consequences of failing to deduct TDS when it is applicable.

What is that 1/4. is he a part time employee??
are you paying 30k per month.??

no need to deduct TDS if you pay 30k per month.

1/4 means 1st april

you need not deduct any tds from his salary.

1/4 mean from 1st april
Not required to deduct TDS.

Since there would be no liability to pay tax, no need to deduct tax at source
