I have a query regarding tds deducted on Provisions made in March.
As the rate was reduced due to pandemic,tds deducted on all the provision was at reduced rate and the same was paid on 7th April to the government.
However they have not shown all the provision entries on which Tds was deducted at the reduced rate in the TDS return of March as bills were expected to receive afterwards.
Whether all the provision related bills on which tds was deducted at the reduced rate was supposed to be shown in Tds return for the quarter ended March even if the bills will be paid later on?
Yes, such provisional entries would appear in q4 return even if bills are paid later.
