TDS on agricultural land bought under JDA

If I bought agricultural land as JDA but I pay them land value without giving any plots, while paying the farmer do I need to deduct TDS.

Yes, if the transaction is under a Joint Development Agreement (JDA), you must deduct 10% TDS on the monetary payment to the farmer under Section 194-IC, as the specific agricultural exemption found in Section 194-IA does not apply here. There is no minimum payment limit for this deduction.
