09 January 2016We have a logistic company (basically a CHA) who deliver the goods from one place to another. We have received the bill of Rs.1,95,000/- which included Rs. 500/- as agency charges. My query is whether there is a TDS deductible in case of Agency charges charged by our CHA?. Please explain the same. Thanks.

Yes you have to deduct TDS on agency charges.. TDS is not applicable only on Service Tax and not on other Charges
