TDS in case of change in employment

If an employee changed the employment during the year & a part of his salary is deducted by previous employer for not serving the notice period. Wheather the said said deducted amount will allowed as deduction under income tax act or the tds will will be deducted on the whole of the amount payable to him.

 

Also if reimbursement formed a part of employee salary & the employee has not submitted the proof to previous employer regarding expenses made by him & the whole amount was made taxable by previous employer. Can the current employer allowed the deductin of reimb. allowable by previous employer if the employee shows the proof of making exp.

Yes you can give your deduction detail to current employer and detail of tds deducted by previous employer or form 12B than your current employer will deduct tds accordingly. Or its already deduct excess than you can take refund at the time of filing return.

Yes, agree with pankaj, u have to just submit the form 12B to your current employer with details of taxable salary (after adj the reimb amt) and tds deducted by previous employer. than the current employer will deduct the TDS based on form 12B.
