hello everyone :-) suppose, in the death of a person, the properties get among wife and a child who is minor, and if the minor gets income from that propeRty, then, how to issue tds to a minor and file the return? on whose name should the rent earned on properTy and tds to be taken? pls help me out people.. thanks :-)

We have recived TDS notices from Gajiyabad office of late filing return they asking to pay intrest .So after making paymnt of Respective period . What action should we taken the recipt of payment should we submitted to near IT office or what? Please Can any one advise me on this issue.

The income of the minor will be clubbed with his/ her mother's (guardian's) income. The TDS will be deducted on her PAN and certificate to be issed to her.

As per Clubbing provision, The income of the minor will be clubbed with his/her mother and the deductor shall deduct the TDS and issue Form 16 in the name of his/her gaurdian(Mother). The same clubbing provision should not have been attracted if the child has earned the income through the deployment of his Skill/Talent.

Since the income does not arise due to.any skill or talant hence the income would b clubbed in the income of mother and tds would b deducted in her name
