I bought a property worth 1 crore and paid the seller 99 lakhs (after deducting 1% TDS of 1 lakh). Now I need to pay the TDS on behalf of seller using his PAN details. The property registration happened on 28th Feb 2026. What is the time deadline to deposit the TDS ? Thanks in advance for your reply.
For your property purchase on February 28, 2026, the TDS must be deposited via Form 26QB by March 30, 2026, and the TDS certificate (Form 16B) must be issued to the seller by April 14, 2026.
