TDS Demand and IT Refund pending

one party has demand from traces of interest on TDS deducted, due to that department has stopped processing of Income tax refund.

So, how that demand can be adjusted from Refund amount as refund amount is greater then TDS demand.

Hi,

You can not adjust the Income tax refund to TDS Interest liability. As both process are different. For TDS Interest, you have to clear it out from TRACES only.
