Please any one tell me if we deducte the tds to firm that will shown under company deduction for non company deduction

actually i was deducted tds to one party, based on that party pan no the party is registed as firm
now the deducted tds amount is whether shown as company deduction or non compnay deduction

Sir please be clear while posting the query...........U are asking for Filing or from ledger point of view ?.
If u make any payment to an individual u should deduct 1% TDS and if it is a Firm or a Company u should deduct 2% TDS.
Then in your case....a) for filing, u should show it under Company/Firm deduction [2%].
b) In ledger u can show it as Firm deduction itself.
