MYTIFICATES FOR PRE TDS CER QUERY IS REGARDING TDS CERTIFICATE.

IS IT MANDATORY TO DOWNLOAD THE TDS CERTIFICATE. I HAVE NOT DOWNLOADED IT FOR THE PREVIOUS 2 QUARTERS. THE TDS AMOUNT IS ALREADY SHOWING IN FORM 26AS, WHICH HAS BEEN CLAIMED BY THE PARTY.

SO IS THERE ANY PROBABILITY OF THE DEPT. RAISING ANY DEMAND IN NEAR FUTURE FOR THE SAME.

It is not at all compulsory to download Tds certificate, if you cliam tds according to 26as then it's ok. See 26as shows how much amount deposited into IT Dept actually. Here if tds certificate showing more amount thab 26as thenit will be your loss as you are not claiming it.
