Is it Right ?Due date is upto 31.03.2010 for TDS is to be deducted by the end of Feb 2010.

TDS for the month of Feb shud be depoited by 7th of march and TDS for the month of march shud be deposited before the last date of filing of return. if TDS for the month of march is nt deposited before last date of filing of return , expenses in respect of such tds shall be disallowed under the income tax act.

U/s 140a(ai) TDS should be deducted and paid in govt. A/c
------Apr. to Feb- On or before 31 mar 2010
-----Mar - on or before due date of filling return.
for the purpose of claiming deduction of exp.
If TDS deposited in Govt. A/c After above date it will be dedutable exp. in that yr. in which it is deposited to Govt A/c.
