i mean that , how can we consider that particular percentage applies ,  or how shoul we aplly that 1% or 2% or 3% on that invoice

Rate of TDS depends on the nature of payment..lets say what type of expenditure is that?
If payment is made to individual or huf then u have to deduct tds at 1%. Suppose if payment is made to a firm or company then you have to deduct 2% as TDS u/s 194C
Slab rates doesn't apply here

Dear Mr Nithesh,

Response to Slab rates doesn't apply here.

I think there is a slab rate accordingly Payment to contractors/ sub- contractors are.

1. Single bill (value excluding of service tax) crosses above Rs.30 K from that particular vendor.

2. Aggregate Rs.75 K (value excluding of service tax) pertaining for the whole financial year from that particular vendor.

with regards,

R A NAIDU

you are required to deduct tds @ 2% when payment is paid to corporate assessee

@ 1% if paid to individual or HUF.....

and tds must be levied only on original amout.so 65000*2%=1300 (  if single payment exceed 30000,if agreegate amt exceeds 75000)

Thank u for replied ,

But can you say, how can we consider for this invoice does aplly slab rate, and this invoice does not apply slab rate ,   this is i aften confused , please can you clarified ?

there is no need to aplly slab rates to those invoices which are libile to tds
