Whare to submit 27C DECLARATION FORM RECEIVED FOR NON DEDUCTION OF TCS. WHETHER AT ASSESSING OFFICER OF TDS OR ASSESSING OFFICER OF INCOME TAX.

IN MY CLIENT CASE INCOME TAX JURISDICTION IS JODHPUR BUT TDS ASSESSING OFFICER IS THANE. THEN WHARE TO SUBMIT DECLARATION AT THANE OR JODHPUR.

WHARE TODear Experts, To claim exemption u/s 206(1A) of the income tax where the assessee need not collect TCS from the sale of scrap if the buyer uses it for manufacturing or processing or producing some other things or articles. For this the buyer has to sign and give Form 27C to the seller. The seller in turn has to sign and give it to the commissioner or Asst. Commissioner. for every month. My doubt regarding this is 1) Whether Form 27C is to be submitted per sale per buyer per month or sales (more than one sale in a month) per buyer per month?

For the purposes of sub-rule 37C(3), the Chief Commissioner or Commissioner means the Chief Commissioner or Commissioner to whom the Assessing Officer, having jurisdiction to assess the person referred to in sub-rule (2), is subordinate.

In your case its at Thane..

, But in my client case at thane jurisdiction only TDS Return is filed ..and client .income tax return is filed at jodhpur in rajashthan because I.T. assessing officer is jodhpur jurisdiction. so now client received tcs form then whare to submit form. at jodhpur whare IT return filed or at thane whare TDS return filed. .
