GUYS I HAVE TAKEN UP THE CLASSES FOR TAX FOR THE NOV 13 ATTEMPT , SINCE THERE ARE CHANGES & LATEST PRAC MANUALS ARE ALSO OUT OF STOCK , I NEED SUGGESTION WHICH BOOK SHOULD I FOLLOW FOR MAY14 ATTEMPT

  SINCE I HAVE BASIC CONCEPTS KNOWLEDGE , I DO NOT NEED A BOOK FOR UNDERSTANDING CONCEPTS ,BUT PRACTICING SUMS COVERING ALL THE ASPECTS (AS TIME IS ALSO LESS)

WILL A SCANNER WORK, BUT I HEARD SCANNERS ARE NOT AMENDED PROPERLY. SUGGEST ANY GOOD  TRIED & TESTED ONE

PLZZZZZZZZZZZZ HELP

Obtain only amendments notes of any teachers available in open market ....no need to refer book. wether at Ca final or IPCC.

Scanners for Taxation ? A big NO. You must lay hand on a good authors book and complement it with Amendments section issued by ICAI along with PM ( wait for it as it will be available in branches ). Best of luck sir for your preparation.

Especially the tax amendments and case laws published by ICAI is very much useful from exam prospective.. Tax is a paper in which application of relative sections on each one question is very much important . So for practical application take padukas book and apply Ur knowledge . Now u r close to exam dates so better give weightage based on exam paper pattern..

T N Manoharan sir book also good enough but based on your time availability read. Exam time so do not research books. I ll prefer the book what I can complete with in 1 day before exam with confidence. May be idea is useful for u.
