Dear expert,
one of my client was in india last year and engaged in business and for that we have filled Itr 4 for that year. Now he is in Dubai and receiving salary from there.
He wants to file return for this year now.
Dear expert kindly guide me in this regard, tell me the procedural requirements and evidence I should ask from him.

He is in Dubai for 9 months.
IT means he left India somewhere in DECEMBER 2019 . What about IT return for F.Y 2019-20 , Is it filed ?. Because in the year 19-20 he is resident Indian for Income Tax purpose .
Dear sir he left india from 1.7.19. He was in india only for 3 months in A.Y. 2020-21. His return has not been filed till now for A.Y. 2020-21. He wishes to file it now.
So , He is in India only 91 Days in F.Y 19-20 A.Y 20-21 and therefore he is Non resident Indian in A.Y 20-21
