i bought a car in Rajasthan after all the documentation they handed over the car but they calculated the rto tax on the paid GST also?

As per Section 15 of CGST It's NOT an interim levy , it's Tax levy under Act , hence RTO tax cannot be compute including GST.
The said provision is drawing its powers from Rajasthan Motor Vehicle Taxation Act which provides for 'cost of vehicle'.
since cost of vehicle under such act requires inclusion of GST they(RTO) are charging Road tax on exshowroom price inc. GST.
