Can any one clarify me, that firm is necessary for signing the tax audit files. As i have received only Membership number, and i applied for COP but not received till now. Shall i sign the tax audit files with membership no. with out the firm no.
Please clarify me as soon as possible
YOU CAN NOT DO THAT
There is no requirement of firm to sign any tax audit report , you can sign own your own name but COP is must. As you dont have COP with you, you can not sign tax audit report

You checked on ICAI site through member's card you got COP or not? You cant sign audit report unless you have COP but yes you can sign in your own name as "CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT"
