06 September 2010While doing tax audit of a partnership firm for A.Y. 210-11, it has come to my notice that audit was mandatory for A.Y. 2009-10 too. But the firm hadn’t got their books audited then. So what will be its implications while doing tax audit of the A.Y. 2010-11?

dear
all assement procedure is considered as seperately form all other assement procedure so that there in no implication while doint the Tax Audit for the A. Y. 2010.2011.

Just do it for the current year. At the time of assessment by the ITO it will be noticed...

Do the audit for the currently year and also inform the cleint about the mistake that occured in earlier year and now there is no remedy for the same.
