stcg u/s 111A is taxable now at 15% instead of 10%.
SURCHARGE:
For individual,HUF,AOP,BOI having income exceeding Rs.10 lacs---10% of income tax
For artificial juridicial person---10% of income tax

S u r correct.... But are these new amendments??? I think its amended by the Finance Act 2008 itself and not the amended provisions of IT by the Finance Act 2009.. Amended provisions of IT by Finance Act 2008 is only applicable for Nov 2009 exams.......
Yes, please dont get confused, all these amendmensts were of finance act 2008 and were also applicable in june 09 exams.
