Hi,
We are in a process of setting up an STPI unit. STPI are asking for Income Tax returns of Directors. Our problem is Directors are not the stake holders and some are in advisory role and hence they do not want to give their personal return. Has anyone come across such problem? if yes is there a case wherein we are exempted from furnishing the returns?

mandatory to submit the founder directors income tax return copy,
you can add the advisors after formation of stpi, but now u can start up with directors who are interested in foundation.
