Statement of financial transactions (sft)

Hello,

Is Filing a NIL Statement of SFT in the case of "Any Person Liable for Audit under 44AB" - "Cash receipt for sale, by any person, of goods or services of any nature" necessary??

If not filed for the FY 2018-19, then whether Penalty @ Rs. 500 per Day payable or not ???
