no , s.d.is only for any salary received from employer

Economic times 21st June in reply to a query it was said that since superannuation fund is deposited by the employer in LIC for annuity pension it is also considered as pension from employer and hence under the head salaries.
anyway thanks for clarification
that's right , u received pension from employer Indirectly
hence u wlii eligible for standard deduction
