If a Person drawing salary and Pension for example a window employed in railways , will be getting both salary and Pension. whether she is eligible for Standard deduction on both salary and Pension.

Standard deduction is applicable for both salaried employees and pensioners.They are eligible to claim standard deduction of Rs.40,000.

yes... she can claim but not separately 40000 for salary and 40000 for pension.
