Can anybody please specify whether SSI provision are applicable to Dealers like First Stage Dealer or second stage dealer? I think SSI Provisions are applicable only to Manufacturers only.
Please clarify position on it.

I also agree with you.
If dealer has pass the excise duty then registered with excise otherwise no need to take registration.
What is my concern is that dealer is required tto get registered irrespective of turnover.
SSI exemption is not required for dealer.
