pcc auditing 1(d) answer is wrong.  

as per section 226(4), that a person is not eligible for appointment as auditor of any company, if he is disqualified from acting as auditor of that company’s subsidiary or holding company or of any other subsidiary of the same holding company.

sorry but the 1st ans is wrong of residential status... ram is a a resident n ordinary resident as he left for 1st time india 
satisfies 2nd condition of sec 6(1), n also does not satisfy both condition of sec 6(6)
plz rectify it

its free telephone at residence is fully exempt (as per rpt )

Is there is any provision for letter of appreciation from ICAI for those students who cleared their PCC Exam both groups in first attempt ??????

Hey the 1st ans is correct of residential status... ram is a Non- resident only..
As he is unable to satisfies any of the basic condition.

Basic condition 2 : person is in India for " *60 days or more" AND 365 days or more in preceding 4 years..

* Exception to basic condition 2 : period of  "60 days" is to be replaced by "182 days or more" in case of  :

a) Indian citizen going out of India for service..

b) the person of Indian origin visits India..
