Skipping an attempt

Hey!

I am a ipcc student, i cleared cpt in my first attempt and May 2015 was my first attempt for ipcc..I chose to skip this attempt as i felt i needed to give myself some more time for preparation...i have chosen to give both groups of ipcc in Nov 2015...im attending evening college.

But ever since i took this decision people around me seem to be giving a lot of advices and that i shouldnt have skipped an attempt and i should have given atleast one group and so on....But ive always been wanting to give both groups at one shot from the beginning...

Is there something wrong in it? Though ive kept my goals and target clear and have been working towards it  when i here ppl saying such things it disturbs me a lot...Plz Suggest something so that i can focus only on my goals..

You loose nothing by giving an attempt. So its always better not to skip the attempt. You could have just taken the attempt like a MODEL exam before your exact exam, so that it would be an experience for you regarding the presentation and time management.
Your life, your decisions! Thus what's done is done, there should be no looking back now..rather concentrate on ur Nov2015 attempt...rock it out...n keep calm. :-) Good luck !!

dont care what ppl say about ur decision which u think it is right fr u...evn i skipped an attempt...dont attempt as an experience or model exam as said by roshan here...bcoz if u fail in tht attempt thn der will be life long remark tht  failed an exam...and gud industries prefer 1st attempt pass out candidates...so its ur life ur choice...dont listen to anyone...just ignore it...u dont loose anything if dont attempt...

From my experience I have learned -- "Today is the best day than tommorow"

I learned the need of a Model Exam from my experience- to gain the skill to present your knowledge and manage your time.

So I would suggest to build an exact Exam environment and take up the RTP AND/OR prev question papers and practise to write exams while you prepare.
