Student Induction Programme (SIP) - Duration - 7 days, to be completed by the students within 6 months of registration to the Executive Programme (Intermediate Exams ) covering the following areas:-

1.    English Speaking Skills

2.    Personality Development and Life Skills– Basic Concepts

3.    Introduction to Course Contents, Electives and Opportunities both in practice and employment

4.    Communication Skills, Writing ability-drafting etc

5.    Usefulness of Reading Newspaper

6.    SWOT Analysis

7.    Computer Literacy (Basics)

8.    Know your Institute

my case is also same . i m also CA final student... right now i m going under CS SIP training at chandigarh...if u r not able to do SIP i guess whn u will give the exams u result will be delayed... so to avoid the delay in result...i suggest u to do the SIP....u nedd any information mail me at abhishekbhandari09 @ gmail.com

What if I do the training in the month of April/May and appear for Exam in December. Will there be any problem?

Alternatively, Can I appear for only one group in June without SIP and then after training appear for the 2nd group in December because it is impossible for me to do the training before 31st March?

Dear Akansha,

if you have not undergone training in 6 months from registration....then your exams will be postponed...it is compulsory....& must be completed before time limit....

Is there any problem if I take the training after expiry of 6 months and give my Exam n December, 2011?

Dear Akansha,

Within 6 months is the mandatory requirement to be fulfilled,so you have to comply with this requirement & undergo training of 7 days within this period......Also refer to the nearest ICSI Chapter office, so that they will provide you proper guidance regarding your view, then only you can come to any conclusion whether to give xams in dec. 2011 is valid or not........

So consult first your chapter office and also let me know what they suggest you....

They were not sounding sure in what they were saying but yes they told me that I can do it after 6 months also and can give exam after that as it is required to submit the SIP certificate with Exam Form.

@ akansha- 

in that case, as they sounds positively then, ther is no need to worry , and so you can appear in dec. exams....If i will get any info. regarding this, i will surely let you know....

By the way, have you given your ca final exams or are going to appear in may????

It is due in November 2011. Thanx 4 all the info. and plzz let me knw anything regarding this, it'll be really nice of u...

hey friends i have also same problem but for me time period was gone but still i didnot go for SIP training becoz my ca final classes & articleship please suggest me what should i do

i had given excutive programme it will not affet on my result na...

please guide me.

Contact your Chapter Office and get registered for SIP and finish your training before result is anounced....

I will be doing the same....hope there wont be a problem, contact ur chapter offc and plzz let me also knw also wat they suggest.....

@ akansha- as ur attempt is in nov. ,so i wanna know how u r preparing for ISCA?? r u referring any book?? or going through module only
