It is Mandatory to file Income Tax Return online for Individual & HUF who are having Total Income Exceeding
Rs. 10 lakh.to file online Income tax Return for Assessment year 2012-13 :-
- First – Prepare ur email id if you dont have it
- Then Go on (www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in).
If you are not registered yet go to
Home- New User-Register here PAN will acts as your user ID &
If you are Already Registered then
Home- Existing User-Login
- Download Form in excel by
Home-Download-Efiling Assesement year 2012-23-Individual – Excel Utility
(Download karne ke baad usme do chiz aayegi Excel file & also one Note pad jisme direction diye honge to remove security from this excel sheet by removing this only we will able to Validate file, wo karne ke baad hi hum excel form bharenge)
- Then Fill the form
- Then Har ek page par Validate par Click karo & dekho koi Problem hai ki nahi
- If everything is ok then Click on Genrate jo ki first page pe hai
- Now XML file generate hogi joki Computer me Save kardo
- To Upload this go to
Home-Submit Return-Select Assessement Year- AY 2012-13-Select Form Name- ITR 1-
Do you want to Digitally Sign the File-NO (If there is no Digital Signature)
Click on-Next
Upload XML file from Browse
Click on Upload
9.Message will come of successful e-filing is flaashed on your screen & their will be option to Download ITR V Acknowledgement & it will be also email you on ur email id.
But to Open this ITR V Acknowledgement they will ask Passward usme
Write ur PAN No. in small letters with ur Birth date
e.g. avgps1234j03091982
10. Tack Print-out of ITR-V ( only in black ink ), put your signature and send to the Income Tax Department-CPC, Post Bag No-1, Electronic City Post Office, Bangalore – 560100, Karnataka within 120 days of filing your returns on-line.
Don’t use Regiesterd Post or Courier
Use Ordinary Post or Speed Post
11. If you do not receive an acknowledgement from the I-T Department in due course, you can send the form again.
