This Article is very interesting.I wish to share few thoughts on the issues raised.
Its high time, the ICAI should make it mandatory for all the CAs to speak with their trainess in english and should also encourage the trainess to speak in english among themselves.
The minimum stipend payable to articled assistants should be revised/reviewed every 3 years.

I agree with your suggestions. I have been told that earlier there was a debate on the issue to increase stipend rate with retrospective effect of last 3 yrs, bt there was a blend of responses icai got from its C.A. members..
Many C.A. members oppose this coz they get their work done by paying a very nominal amt to the learning articles, and some of them could nt simply afford the hike !
lets c what is in store for C.A. articles n hope for the best !
