Have faith in yourself and be self confident.

Since you have already given 3 attempts, give one more time. CA is not something like no one can clear its Exam.

But I would suggest change the method of studying and appearing for the exam and try this time.

You should not drop the CA. You should give further attempt. Do not loose hope, prepare well for next attempt. I think your sir has judged you very well becasue you had worked for a long time under him.

Start your study from today itself. Plan your study and you should try to give 100% output. For any problem refer scanners and books. Even me could not clear the PCC in May 09 but i did not loose hope and cleared 2nd group in Nov 09 and 1st group in this may. Try to find your mistakes and rectify them. This will sure help you to get out of this problem.

Awake, Arise & Stop not till the goal is achieved. This is the fundamental for the success. So, keep  trying putting best of your efforts and forget the no. of attempts and have faith on your self and leave the rest to your god. BEST OF LUCK.

Hello Neha , i can understand your problem as a CA student . Take my case , i cleared PE1 and then PE2 group 2 in 2006 first attempt .Having got 67 and 64 in law and auditing but could not clear in accounts . I got an oppurtunity in GE hyderabad, due to frustration i quit CA coaurse and worked there for 4 yrs . The corporate jobs are boring and will not give u a sense of happiness in long term .It will become a routine job without any zeal,passion and creativity.  I had then quit job my in march and currenlty converted from PE2 to IPCC and preparing for remaining subjects . Take some rest for some time and dont bother what others would think at this time .UR sincerity and hard work will pay you results one days. Dont think of quitting .... wish u all the best.

as far as about rectfying mistakes i know that in costin & fm and in audit i can improve that.but i dont have courage to open A/C book.i really did lots of hardwrk in accouants not in othr subjct as i did in this.trust me i did practise from my hand not juzt i ticked solution.still i got 56.i dont know what went wrong..same in tax and it sm i dont understnd hw to study thses subjct that atslt i get 50.i cnt crame theroy n there languge.i understn n write in my own way but yesi do use technicl words...i dont siply write as kid.

plus i feel CA is out of my strenght and potentnl now this much hardwrk if i put in any othr field il surely get thru.....i want to study with heart n happily..but CA makes me cry now...evertime when i see 145 i curse god ,,,many of frndz cleard thr grup exact 150..why the hell it happend to me evertime???

sumtm i feel as god givin me signal that neha this is not your destination.give more attemp n result will b same..

if u see my face this is like half got shriked in tension.so my family also get worreid abt me....

i m really career oriented i want to stand on my feet.i knew CA is kind of field whr has to face lot of failures struggle...but now i really cnt handle....if i go for nxt attemp & what if it happns again..

now after this attemp i doubt that may b i cnt do.i m not made for CA.may b i did big mistake to choosn it as career one shuld know there strenght befor goin for such career.which i got to know now after 3yrs since i enrold in pcc whn i was 19..

my all seniors n frndz  motivated me last time also & family too...but result is not in are hand..this time also they all motivatin me like all u seniors n frndz doin over here ...and i know result wont b in r hand.AM BIG CONFUSED AS no single persun sayin for quit.all sayin go for d last attemp give this one atlst....................................................................................................

Take the example of an ant who falls every now & then when climbing on the wall but  the ant never think to quit because the ant has decided to climb the wall any how at any cost. i.e firm on its decision.

the same instance has been suffered by one of my friend & the same above  example has been shared by my sir & it really works now he has cleared one of the groups of pce  & his confidence level is also high ,hence you will study hard & clear the exam more confidently.

If you dont want to read old books then try some new books of other authors & try to solve the problems from there which will boost your confidence & increase your energy level.

Try to solve as much question as u can from the institute suggested answers. identify the changes made while drafting the question by the examiner on the same topic.

And then analysis yourself where you commit the mistake & rectify the same as early as possible

Practice makes man perfect.

hey sis i hv given 2nd attempt in this pcc may 2010 and result was negative my marks were:

nov2009  a/c 48   audit 48  law 42   cst fm 53   tax 38   itsm 53

may2010 a/c 25   audit 53  law 49   cst fm 38   tax 42   itsm 58

 i m analysing were i made mistake and will b appearing in next attempt even with more confidence. nd same is expected frm u. i hope u got it wat i m tring to say with this open display of mark 

my strength is theory and weakness is practical subject .

know ur weakness and start working on it. and if u want any help in itsm pls let me know as this is the only subject i hv taken seriously  all the best

While encouraging words are all very good, I feel we should point out to Neha that her English writing skills requires much improvement (assuming she is writing the papers in English). However much you know , unless you are able to express it on paper things will not work out. This applies to any field of study and especially in CA where you have to reason out the answers .

So Neha , if you feel you can invest time in improving your written English , then by all means go ahead and write the exam again. Else I feel you should look at other courses where lack of written english skills will not be a major handicap.

Sorry for putting it so bluntly, but I feel that a sensible choice (rather than a emotional one) will help you in the long run

In my view you should not quit .CA course means struggle. As you have shared your numbers, you are very close to pass the exams so work hard and do something different in this attempt means just dont revise the course do some new things and to get what is your problem see sugested.

Dear Neha, do not give up. Since u hv tried 3 attempts, by this time u hv known where the deficiency was.  Since u hv already known the answer, u will easily make up the deficiency - whether it's in preparation, taking correct rest in between, besides good diet.

Mind u if u give up at this juncture, it'll be more painful than pursuing. Restore confidence in yourself as well as God.
