Hi Should i quit Ca?

I'm writing ca final since May 2007 and not cleared not even one group . Also every time i 'm getting 55 to 59 marks in Audit, Law, DT, IDT. Also i wrote very well in Mics and not at all getting good marks.

Now i'm 28 pressure are building up in my home for marriage etc. and have to be in job presently i'm working in audit firm for 20 k per month .

so writing again means a big task and i'm in a mood to quit ca and planning to go for jobs in BPO which gives more salary also planning to complete certiifcation courses offered by some other institute other than icai.

From the above marks it clearly states that ca is not my bread and butter as i don't have any luck in it .

So friends kindly advise me on the same asap so that i can take a wise decision . now i don't have enough patience for any failures.

Also if continued whether i have to go on group wise or both .

u should not quit ca

according to me their is uncertainty to work with BPO . u may get more good offers of job later also after being ca . 55-59 marks shows that u r capable of being a ca .u should try once more .

Hi Kalyan,

I can understan ur position. But dont leave ur CA now at this stage. All set and done u have come upto this level. U may get more in BPO now but going further down in ur life u may not get equal opp like what u have now. Pl continue and start things afresh. Leave the past . Commit a time to ur family and dont lose heart. U wil get good girls for a CA than a CA inter ( I mean it).

Kalyan u r defeated only when u accept the defeat. Dont let faliure to dominate upon u. Dont be t eslave of ur situation . I will guide u.

My father is also a CA and he had started CA after having two kids me and my brother. Ur situation is far better than him

1) No. Of leave u can avail from audit firm.

2) Books u r using for GR1 and GR2

3) Whethe rit will be fine for u to appear for Single Group.

You should not quit CA. Instead quit your job for a while or take leave for two to three months and give a final shot for CA final examinations and you can clear the exams.
