Dear Sir,

Kindly guide me how to calculate Short term Capital Gain Tax. I am having Demat Account in SBI Capital Securites. As per there showing it is the Sales Value of Shares - Cost of Purchase = Capital Gain. But What about the brokerage and other expenses.

What is the tax rate?

Is there any Excel file from where to calculate Short term Capital Gain.

Regards

Arun Banerjee
