 Hi!!

I'm doing my articleship from a big four.. its been almost 2 and a half year's that i'm working in a big four... the work pressure here is too much coz of which i'm not able to concentrate on my studies and m not able to clear my PCC.. i also have my TYB.Com exam in april,2010.. my leave has been utilised and i wont be getting any further extension...

because of the transfer rule i cant even take transfer nor can i do Industrial training...

only option left with me is that i quit CA.. which i dont wanna do as i really aspire to become a CA...

what's problem to transfer ??

 transfer's are not allowed...

Don't quit the course just because of small reason as you have already spent 2 and Half years and only 1 year is to go so be patient and wait for the articleship to get over meanwhile you can contetrate on u studies as and when you get time it's about how u manage ur time

Piyush is right! You have already spent 2 1/2 precious years by way of articleship. Two and half years is quite a lot of time! I believe you must have gained immense  knowledge during this period. Be Patient enough to complete it.

As far as Bcom exams are concerned you don't need to be worried. Many friends of mine have been in your position, and today they are highly successful in their careers.

Good days are ahead of you!

All the best!!!

maintain a balance between ur work hours, study hours and sleeping hours. Spend 8 hours gross for each of the three.Do articleship for gaining knowledge and study books for striving towards excellence.Being a CA student, possess two things- patience and hardwork. If u follow these things, forget abt quitting, u r bound to become a Chartered Accountant.Best of Luck!!!

y to worry transfers r allowed this days but restricted to only one (in the articleship period) as far i know...

dont thing negetive, n just chill...

hi... Arpita.....

u r very gud n courageous grl.... plz plz dont quit.... the time u hv given in ur articleship is not spent its a huge investment... n u will surely gain out of it..... articleship in big4 is not a joke.... my dear u hv gained tooo much..... i agree that its very difficult 2 grsp that u hvn't yet cleared ur pcc.... dont worry dear... do 1 thng... if u dont hv any problm... go grp by grp.... appear 1 grp at a time... generally i never suggest any1 2 go 4 single grp... bt ur case is such that its more better 2 go for single grp..... plz do some time managemt... i m very sure... u will get through it.....

bt plz its my personal request dont giveup n quit.... All the Best...

Megha

I was studied in next to my home town where there was no chartered accountants in my place.  I lost all my study times in travel.  I could not complete my CA Inter within the Article period.  I completed CA Inter while doing job by dedicating 3 hrs in a day after working hrs.

I believe, in confident that I CAN DO..  Now I am doing CA Final, CWAI Inter and planning to join CS as well.

I am sure, that I can be successful one day on my study life.

DO NOT THINK THAT WE LOST EVERYTHING WHEN WE MISSED ON TARGET.

TRY AGAIN AND CONTINUE TO STUDY.

I hope you understood above real example.

And I know a person has completed CA after writing 7 times CA Inter and 5 times CA final.  Can you match with him where are you?

never think of quitting CA.......................once v join a course itz our responsibility to complete it....................dont get depressed................

Try single group at a time......then it will not have much burden on you. And 1 month leave is enough for preparing for 1 group.

Don't quit CA.

you must not quit as already you have spent your valueable time in articleship.face problem boldly, don't get disheartned.Always remember " Many may be better than you but it is equally true that you are better than many others too".be persistent sucess will come to u surely.wishing you good luck.may all your efforts turn into great achievement this year.

Hi Arpita!

I just want to say that it was you who chose to go to Big4 & not to a mediocre ca firm. Ya work pressure is definitely there but you will get the benefit also. Just another 1 year to go. Utilise the resources that you have to the fullest. Don't take tension for B.com. Many of the subjects are common in both the courses.

The pressure u r talking about is jst the pressure u r suffering from being in the training period.

U said u aspired to become C.A. after becoming C.A., u hve to take much more pressure than this...

There is no use doing something if it doesn't take hell out of u. becoz' ultimately, the thing rubbed u a lot will pay u off..... The reasons told by u holds no merit if u took the course knowing all these circumstances b4.

Sit silently, and think whats going wrong. sometimes we shud not take the work seriously. Nvr get overburdened by the situation. Nothing is unbeatable except ur own self. Its not that their is pressure in ur work or in ur situation, but its that u r feeling pressure. Stop feeling pressure and it will go. Try manage everything. it will pain u but ultimately, u see, no pains is no gains. We all hve passed thro' these time. i agreee joing big 4 do created some burden of being good in studies, but these things shudn't be taken serously. Just mind ur aim, and every thing else will follow.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BEST OF LUCK...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Arpita

something r very difficult to achieve, but it does,nt mean that u should not try, ithink u should try harder.

Never quit ur attempt on your way to victory. nvr underestimate yourself becoz we all are born winners,

so always live to win, work to win and breath to win.

Don't quit
