It means we have to calculate the value of 2.71828 ^0.556

Step - 2    -  1    (i.e. press "minus", then "one")

Step - 3    X   0.556  (i.e. press "Multiply", then "0.556")

Step - 4    +  1   (i.e. press "Plus", then "1")

Step - 5     X =    X =      X =   X =   X =   X =   X =   X =   X =   X =   X =   X =  (i.e. press 12 times: "multiply" and "=")

Now you have 1.74373 on your calculator.

--it means  e ^0.556 = 1.7437
