sez. 234F for late filing income tax.

I have a partnership firm which is in audit. being a partner I have not filed my income before audit. can I pay fees under section 234F. what is the process.

same is happening with me. and software is calculating penalty.if income is more than 250000

No, you are not required to pay fee u/s 234 F .
due date of return for a working partner of a firm (covered under Tax Audit) is 15 Oct for AY 2018-19.

so why software is calculating

since date was extended recently. It may be possible that software was not updated by the vendor. In that case, contact your software vendor for further update.
