As per my opinion

1.scientific research, current dep
2.brought forward loss
3.unabsorbed dep

1st are allowable exp for current year
2nd brought forward loss can be c/f upto 4/8 years(normal business /speculative business) but note that loss from specified business can be c/f upto no. of years
3rd unabsorbed loss can be c/f upto indefinite years so that last priority given

Sir but specfied bussines loss is given then in place of UN absorbed del then please expain

Then put it in 3rd category because it can be c/f upto indefinite years.
First setoff those losses which can be c/f upto limited years and give priority on the basis of 'how many years can be c/f'

I think in the act there's not any clarification regarding priority to setoff losses but to take maximum benefit first we've to setoff those which can be c/f upto limited years
