Normally, service tax return is filed on a half-yearly basis.
.
Only during FY 2012-13, first half (i.e. Apr-Sep) was divided into two quarterly returns (Apr-Jun and July-Sept) due to the implementation of negative tax regime w.e.f. 01.07.2012.
