Service tax registration vs liability to pay service tsx

Hi all,

I have a query.. pls help.

We have registered with service tax department,  eventhough we don't provide services of value more than 10 lakhs.  ( one of our client forced us to take the registration ) .

Till now we don't have taxable services more than 10 Lacks and we don't expect more than 10 lakhs taxable services in future years too,  Is it necessary for as to collect and remit service tax to the department in subsequent years ?? Is the basic excemption of 10 lakh is available for the first year of registration only ??

If we cross 10 lack limit in an year, Is it compulsory for us to collect service tax for every bill raised in subsequent years ??

Please refer Notification No.33/2012.

If u provides taxable service of 9 lakh or more, you are required to register.

Also u are required to file Service Tax return, even if no service is provided.

Regarding 10 Lakh, u are not laible to pay ST.U are liable to pay tax only when you crosses 10 lakh.

It is eligible only if u provided the Value of service upto 10 lakh in preceding Previous year.

I have already registered and need clarification of the situation what I have mentioned

Please Clearly describe the situation
