Service tax registration at residential premises

one of my client has filed application for registration under category Real Estate Agent at Residetial Premises situated at Huda.

The service tax officer has raise objection that the number would not be granted in residetial premises situated at Huda. Can

he raise such kind of objection.

Second the residence is owned by his father then which document can be submitted as proof of business premises.

The contention of the Service Tax officer cannot be tenable. A no objection Certificate from the flat owner is required as an addtional document to register the premise. The Act or rules does not make any difference between commecial premise or residential premise.
