I had a following doubt regarding service tax return filing:
Suppose u have filled ur return on the due date say 25th April and when u view the staus next day..it shows return is rejected for reason say...invalid premises code.
So on 26th april u again file the return correcting their querries and on the next day it is accepted by thhe department. Whether ur ST3 would said to be filed in time??????????
Yes, it is deemed to be filed on time.
you have to take a printout of such incidents and for minor queries complience rejection department dont bug the assesees, unless revenue is not found disorder.
