Service tax payment dates
What is due date to pay service tax for the month of March 2013 for private limited companies in maharashtra? As per my knowledge from 1st march to 25th March service tax should be pay by 31st of march & from 26 to 31 st March service tax can be paid by 5th April 2013.

The payment date for the entire month of March'13 is 31st March13 only.

And usually, the payment dates for assessees who are not liable to pay service tax electronically, if the payment date falls on a holiday, then the due date is extended to next working day....But this time, RBI has issued a circular for asking the Banks to remain open on 30th Macrh'13 as well as 31st March'13.
So, now, even in case of assessees not liable to pay electronically, the due date shall still be 31st March'13 only
