As per my Service Tax Auditor's advice, service tax is to be remitted in proportion to the revenue recognized during the period inspite of advance received.
But as per my understanding, in the Point of Taxation Rules, the Service Tax is to be paid either on issuing of Invoice or receipt of Advance, whichever is earlier.
please suggest which one is correct.
