Service tax on giving service to outside of india.

Hello Sir. I have a small outsource promperitership firm. I gives our multimedia services to only outside of india. We do not gives our service to any one in india. So do i need to pay service tax for that? Although i donot charges any tax to my clients and i am sure they will not pay any tax to us because they are not in india.

First you will have to check the location of service receiver under RULE 2 of POPOS if it is in India then you are liable to pay service tax although your clients are outside India. you will also have to check rule 2a to check whether the service provided falls for export, if as per rule it is export than need not to pay service tax.
