i have started a company in advertising and merchandising . Its a sole properitorship company wanted to know do i need to take service tax number currently before starting operations or need to wait fr revenue to cross 9lakhs..
i would be charged service tax by hoarding company which i have to charge further to client as i would be 3rd party
please suggest..
If u r charging service tax in ur invoice separately then u have to take registeration number. But if u r just recovering service tax as an expense inclusive in ur invoice then i dont think u have to take registeration now.
