hello sir,
we r authorised dealer for two wheelers of mahindra for service and sales.our service income per annum is around 6.00 lacs including free service,warranrty etc.whether we have to pay service` tax are not and we r not collecting service taxfrom the customer and we didnt even registered for service tax kindly help me in this issue.

Sir,
It is taxable servcie and and your liability to be raised on providing such services. The service tax laviable on the firm status basis. So that plz clear your status i.e. proprietorship or partnership firm.
If you are proprietorship firm then your service tax liability will be liable on cross the exemption limit i.e. 10 lakh only.
Further having othr observation in this regard plz forward the same.
