Service tax exemption

A religious institution is providing training/coaching based on religious books and charges the students. Whether service tax is applicable or not on such religious coaching and whether the exemption threshold of Rs. 10 lakhs is applicable or from the beginning only they should charge the service tax and pay to the Government.
