My clint is a MSO company providing cable tv services to various cable operators in state of MP . Company is Charging broadcaster ( Like Sony tv , zee , star) a fees called " Carriage Fees" for running their channel on a particular band. I have read taxable service head " Cable operator" but in that head nothing has been said about this service. How ever company is charging for this service including service tax. Pls suggest whether it's taxable under service tax or not ?
