Can any1 help me out in this disputed case:
Suppose a project of a real esate company gets completed on 1-10-2010(company receives the completion certificate from Municipality) and i have a customer from whom i have to receive a balance of Rs 20 laks. The Flat was booked before 01.07.2010(Applicablity date).HE makes the payment after 01-10-2010.Ma Question is he suppose to pay service tax on this Rs 20lakhs which he makes after 01.-10-2010.

amount paid earlier or later, but the buyer is deemed service receipent for the flat,
if the vendor sales complete flat after completion certificate, then its "goods" not services. but agreement prior to completion certificate is entitled for service tax payment.
