I think no other choice but to claim it back via Refund.

No need to worry . Preserve those challans. While filing returns consider the self assessment tax paid twice also, any how the excess portion will be refunded

no other option other than to claim refund.

REFUND IS D ONLY ALTERNATIVE I THINK

Show  in the compuattion 2 time and claim refund back.

HOw to Claim Refund as Early as Possible?

Preserve the original challans, go to the concerned IT Ward circle. Expalin the details to UDC/ ITO. then claim refund . So Immediatrly refund process starts.

I think it is better file the revise IT return as early as possible. If u have recd intimation u/s 143 (1) (a) u can file the rectification to get refund of excess paid tax.

Revise your ITR and claim the refund

Dear Mr. S. Shiroor,

@ amit

There is a diference between Rectification and Revision as per IT dept.

You can Rectify the return and select the first option-> "Assesse is changing  Tax credit Mismatch only"

Then 3 options come TDS  TCS and TI.  Select TI for self asses tax

Then add the entry with challan No. date and BSR code. --> submit

Excess tax over tax liability will be refund -However no Int u/s 244 will be paid  bcoz assesse has miscalculated the tax to be paid.

I paid SAT two time at first i didnt get any challan so i made next payment can anybody tell me how to get it back

After  143(1) comes rectify and claim  SAT
