This is page 1 of your answer sheet of ISCA. As you mentioned the examiner crossed all pages and provided zero in all 36 pages.

It seems in your case the matter is not what you wrote but how you wrote.

Perhaps Examiner couldn't understant your handwriting,( I can read and understand it properly but it is generally illegible from exam point of view. You was in hurry since page one, so there is no chances you had written better on next pages. Bad impression from page 1.

I am just a student and my writing is also not good. But i take care while writing in exam. there is clear instruction provided with permission letter that no marks will be awarded if handwriting is illegible.

But still you should not leave the matter and should try your best to present your side to ICAI.

quitting is not a good option, improve your handwriting and presentation in next exam.

Dont ever think of quitting. I know it's tough to accept this but you got no other option. I know you are writing this today because you really think you dont deserve this. When i appeared in Nov11 for ca final, though i performed quite well in ISCA exam but was shocked to see that i got shameless 19 in ISCA. I knew i never deserved this marks and i felt like i could have scored this much even without touching my books. But couldnt do anything and somehow gathered courage to accept my marks and moved on. In my next attempt i.e may 12, i cleared 2nd group scoring 59 in ISCA. Dont loose hope. Be brave and accept whatever you have got and work harder to prove it to the world that you never deserved this marks. Life is being tough to you and you got to be tougher... Be a fighter not a quitter. Stop not till you get all you aspire for. Be a warrior.

I know of a student who got 0 marks in maths and stats   for inter in the late 80's.Today he is a qualified CA..Experiences like this should make you stronger.
